Nonku Ntshona & Associates Quantity Surveyors (Pty) Ltd (NNAQS) is a medium sized black woman owned quantity surveying company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Founded by Nonku Ntshona, the company brings to bear her in-depth knowledge of the property development and construction industry, and a broad range of skills gained from more than 20 years experience working on prominent development projects in South Africa and the broader African region.

The company comprises of a team of professionals largely women who have gained recognition in the Quantity Surveying profession and who bring expertise in their field of knowledge to add value to the company's range of competencies.

The vision of NNAQS is to become the most sought after and distinguished quantity surveying firm in South Africa, while its mission is to be a catalyst for change and enable a greater role for previously disadvantaged societies, concentrating on increased participation of women in the construction industry.

NNAQS offers quantity surveying services in commercial property and mining engineering. The commercial property entails retail, offices, industrial, residential and mixed use developments. The company is able to deliver an end to end service to meet, manage and deliver on the full spectrum of quantity surveying requirements for projects of any scale. As a result of the company's broad experience, NNAQS is able to provide services in a range of disciplines accurately and diligently to deliver on time while ensuring compliance with quantity surveying norms.
Nonku Ntshona is a South African entrepreneur and business woman. A qualified quantity
surveyor, she is the founder and CEO of Nonku Ntshona & Associates Quantity Surveyors (Pty) Ltd.
Her entrepreneurial spirit and in-depth industry experience is evident in her leadership of a largely female team to significant success in a male dominated industry.
Nonku’s business is recognised for its expertise in delivering world class infrastructure on mandates across Africa. Her level of international project experience includes infrastructure developments in the mining industry, roll out projects in the automotive sector, office developments, retail developments, housing developments, commercial mixed use developments and watching brief projects. Her international experience includes leading and managing office and mixed –use development projects in The Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Dar es Salaam and Cameroon.
Nonku also serves on numerous professional bodies and is affiliated to several organisations with a forum to advance women in business. Prior to establishing Nonku Ntshona & Associates Quantity Surveyors (Pty) Ltd, Nonku was an Associate Partner at Turner & Townsend, one of the leading International Quantity Surveying and Construction Management companies. Nonku was the head of the retail and mixed use development sector within the cost management division.
She started her career with Rousseau Probert Elliot Quantity Surveyors in Port Elizabeth. Nonku then joined Bham Tayob Khan Matunda in Johannesburg, after which she joined Turner & Townsend.
