The lockdown has really opened doors for remote learning and self-development, and I come across various platforms with different kinds of webinars with free access each day whilst working from the confines of my home.
I have been enhancing my business skills by enrolling to take part in webinars and taking valuable notes. My evenings have mostly been spent searching for articles, papers, write-ups, thought leadership pieces and books on quantity surveying business strategies. This has given me insight into acquiring greater interpersonal skills that I have always overlooked or never thought were required for the QS profession.
These are the times to adapt and improve our skills so that we can provide better services to our clients whilst growing our businesses in times of change.
