Lockdown level 4 - the week that's past by Nathi Shandu

Since the lockdown began, it has been clear that most South African have been struggling to make ends meet. People are starting to get frustrated about this lockdown; we still see long queues in food stores.



This week it was announced that schools will start classes again from 1 June. According to the plan Grade 12 and Grade 7 pupils will return. It is concerning about social distancing and the availability of cleaning and disinfection materials, sanitisers, hand washing, soap, gloves and cloth masks.


Because of COVID-19 the construction industry is expected to have massive retrenchments in the construction sector and will be impacted quite heavily because of this.
