On the 18th of March 2022, a long, yet exciting journey came to an end, but I am happy to say that I have reached the pinnacle by achieving my Global Executive MBA at IESE Business School.
My journey began pre-Covid in 2019 in bustling New York City where I started my first elective module, but early in 2020, the USA imposed travel restrictions on African & European countries, which meant I had to complete the course online from South Africa. Perseverance paid off in October 2020 - I was delighted to finally complete the MBA, but our celebrations had to wait.
After 2 postponements of the graduation ceremony, we were blessed to have the opportunity to attend an illustrious event this month, on 18 March 2022. I was lucky enough to celebrate this momentous occasion surrounded by family and friends in Barcelona, Spain.
It was delightful to reunite with my fellow students after 2 years of not seeing each other.
